Los Angeles, CA, August 4, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Apple & Samsung, the leading manufacturers of smarphones, need to become early adopters of the ‘Safe Texting’ Safety System in all their new smartphones sold in the U.S. – to help eliminate the increasing rate of texing while driving accidents.
Accidents and fatalities in the U.S. resulting from texting while driving have reached epidemic proportions. Many State governments have tried solving the problem using a brute-force approach, to deter and curb texting & driving incident rates by instituting ineffective Anti-Texting Laws in recent years.
"Safe Texting is unique in that it does not change human behavior and permits unlimited texting while driving at any speed. To ensure widespread adoption of Safe Texting's safety system, Apple & Samsung need to incorporate Safe Texting as a standard feature in their smarphones."

Safe Texting is a unique safety system enabling hands and eyes free texting while driving at any speed, and holds the promise to eliminate texting while driving accidents.
Safe Texting is a safety system technology creating a system-based solution between the driver, vehicle and smartphone. According to Safe Texting inventor Tara Chand, “Safe Texting is unique in that it does not change human behavior and permits unlimited texting while driving at any speed. To ensure widespread adoption of Safe Texting’s safety system, Apple & Samsung need to incorporate Safe Texting as a standard feature in their smarphones.”
As smartphones have become inseparable from our daily lives, the addictive nature of being in constant touch has increased in correlation with the rate of U.S. accidents resulting from texting & driving; local and national news media often feature tragic news stories about accidents or fatalities resulting from distracted drivers texting while driving.
Many have tried recently to solve the growing problem of texting while driving with brute force technology — by either disabling the handset and/or educating the public of the dangers of texting while driving – neither method has proved an effective solution, as State governments have come to realize after many passed laws to address the problem with little to no effect on texting while driving accident rates.
Mr. Chand noted, “For many people smartphones have become an extension of individual personalities, and communicating via texting, even while driving, is now fundamental to staying in touch with anyone, anywhere; one cannot legislate that or prohibit what has become natural human behavior.”
Mr. Chand continued, “Understanding that aspect of human behavior has been fundamental to conceiving, developing and patenting the Safe Texting system, which creates the first viable system solution to eliminating the problem of texting while driving. Safe Texting has been system-engineered from the top down and ground up, to address any and all issues related to solving such a complex problem.”
For driver convenience, Safe Texting automatically switches between a smartphone’s normal texting mode into safe texting mode when the car is shifted from Park into Drive, freeing the driver form having to think about, or do anything. Safe Texting then allows the driver to speak and edit a text message, and hear incoming or archive text messages read back using any vehicle in-car operating system.
Safe Texting has been engineered to not only effectively solve the problem of safely texting while driving, but ensure implementation costs are minimal for all market participants, including vehicle manufacturers, cellular carriers and smartphone manufacturers like Apple & Samsung.
Mr. Chand said, “He is looking to partner with any and all interested societal, business and government elements, to have Safe Texting implemented in all smartphone and vehicle operating systems, and would grant licenses to these business entities. He invites open inquiries from anyone and asks the NTHSA to take the lead in requiring the adoption of Safe Texting for the benefit of all Americans.”
